The New Breed

Effective period / Period of releases: 1967 - 1968

This band didn't really exist, but consisted of session players. To promote their releases the small In Crowd label claimed tha the 45's were actually the work of Dallas band the Mystics, but that was false. The link was songwriter Ron Price, who worked for numerous labels at the time, including Spectra (to whom the Mystics were signed) and In Crowd.
