Born: July 3, 1922 in in Whitetop, Virginia, USA - Died: September 15, 1988 in Paradise, California, USA Inducted into the Western Swing Society Hall of Fame (1985). Member of the Hometown Jamboree, WHO Iowa Barn Dance Frolic and WSM Grand Ole Opry.
