William Radant
Real name: William Fred Radant
William Radant was the first clarinetist and frequent soloist with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra. He studied music education at Oklahoma City University or The University of Oklahoma, earning a BA there. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Michigan. Radant married Jacque Cook, a flutist in the Tri-City Symphony, on August 31, 1952, in Muscatine, Iowa. Radant had been a president of the Sunday Evening Music Club which met at the Fredlo Studio location among other venues.
