Biography

Marilyn Stevenson
Piano accompanist. Stevenson was a 1949 graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, earning her master’s degree in 1950. She later studied in New York with Robert Goldsand and with Rudolf Serkin at the Marlboro School of Music. Pianist with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra, assistant professor of piano and music theory at St. Ambrose University, and wife to James Stevenson, who directed the orchestra at Davenport West High School.
