Austrian-born American classical clarinetist, arranger, composer, conductor and teacher (* 02 October 1907 in Vienna, Austro-Hungary; † 1994).In 1938, he left Europe for the United States, moving first to New York, and in 1949 settling in Sherman, Connecticut, where he maintained his home for the rest of his life.
