Real name: Hakan Kartal

Hakan Kartal aka Hakan is a Turkish pop ainger - aong writter who was born in İstanbul. Graduated from Pera Music Academy and ITU State Conservatory in Music Theories. Started a professional music career in 1987. Hakan Kartal has a repertoire of 2500 works consisting of songs from 106 different countries in 53 different languages. With this background, he is one of the few vocalists in Turkey and in the world known as an "entertainer" in the music industry. He successfully interprets a wide range of music, from classical Western music to the most famous and beloved pieces of Turkish and folk music, and he arranges his own orchestras.

"Hakan Kartal" possesses a tenor (dramatic tenor) voice. He plays the piano at an advanced level, the ud at an intermediate level, and the clarinet and guitar at a basic level. He has released two solo albums, the first in 1994 titled "Söylüyorum İşte" and the second in 2013 titled "The Entertainer - Volume 1". He also released a single in 2023 titled "Bekle Efendi". He is involved in advertising music, arrangement, and composition work, and has supported some artists as an arranger, composer, lyricist, and supervisor.

He has performed at nightclubs, bars, local venues, special events, and concerts all over Turkey and has been awarded plaques and honors by numerous social institutions and organizations. In September 2022, he reached the finals and secured the second place in the 25th Kuşadası Golden Pigeon Song Contest with his song "Bekle Efendi," for which he wrote both the lyrics and the music.
