Garage band from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
They began as the Bandits, and after some line-up switches, the group was spotted by the Benedetto brothers, Bill Benedetto and Nick Benedetto, who agreed to manage them, and changed the name to the Playgue. The guys also switched from the in-vogue invasion sounds to more R&B styled numbers, along with Stones covers.
