Jimmie MacLellan was born February 11th 1910, at St. Rose, Inverness County, Cape Breton Island, on a small farm, and at an early age learned to play the fiddle.
Jim has played on many Radio Stations, including CFCB, Charlottetown, CKCB, Timmins, Ontario, CKSO, Sudbury, Ontario and CHNO, Sudbury, Ontario.
Jim is a very well know exponent of Scottish and Irish fiddling, and also a well known composer in his own right.
