Gilson Campos

Real name: Gilson Campos

He began his career at the age of 15, singing in bars at night in São Paulo and in dance bands. In 1998 he became a member of the band Twister. During their stay, the band recorded three albums called Twister, Mochila e Guitarra no Avião and an album in Spanish.

In 2001 he converted to the gospel, but he still remained in the band. In 2003, after the end of the Abril Music record label, and automatically the end of the band Twister, Gilson was able to dedicate himself to a solo career.

In 2004 he signed a contract with Line Records and the following year he released the album Na Paz. For this album, he won the 2006 Talent Trophy, in the Male Revelation category.

In 2007 he released the CD On the Road, his second with the Line Records label. In 2008, he won the 2008 Talent Trophy in the Best Male Performer category, together with Davi Sacer.

In 2009 his contract with Line Records was renewed. In September of the same year, he released his third album, entitled Vale vale servicing. On this album, the song Tudo é do pai stands out, previously performed by Padre Fábio de Melo.

In 2012 he released a live collection of his greatest hits. The album also features some new songs and guest appearances by David Fantazzini, Dany Grace and Wesley Ros.

In 2013 he released the album Tempo de Honrar.

In 2013, the singer was also a judge and presenter of the Gospel Singer program, on Rede Gospel de Televisão.

In 2017 he released the compilation album GRANDES SUCCESSOS in the singer's voice.

In 2018 he began his career as a Digital Producer.

In 2019 he performed several LIVE Shows on YouTube in the middle of the pandemic.

In 2020 he did a LIVE commemoration "NO FIM FOI BOM", 20 years with the Banda Twister.

In 2021 he debuts his career as a presenter on his Podcast "Dream Again".

In 2022 he released his first book entitled "After the hurricane" where he tells his auto biography and also, secrets and behind the scenes of fame, his experience with God through gospel music and talks about personal development and the power of self-knowledge.

In 2022 he released the song "Voando Mais Alto" on all digital platforms.

2023 Gilson Campos is part of the judging panel for the fifth edition of Canta Comigo, presented by Rodrigo Faro on Record.
