Gotham

Effective period / Period of releases: 1972

Members: Pee Wee Ellis, John Gatchell, James Strassburg, Linc Chamberland

American funk-rock group from New York. They originally went by the New York Street Band, but their name was changed to Gotham for their sole release, "Pass the Butter" in 1972. Apparently, a whole second album's worth of material was recorded, but never released.
