Herbert "Schneckerl" Prohaska was one of Austria's best midfielders and a long time player in the National Team along with Hans Krankl. He also played for FAK Austria Wien, Inter Milan and AS Roma. After ending his career as an active player he managed the Austrian National Football Team (Österreichisches Fußball-Nationalteam). He has also been a popular TV host and match analyst on Austria's public TV station ORF.

He was born 8 August 1955 in Vienna, Austria.
