English jazz drummer, born 31 January 1942 in Frome.
Mann became a professional musician in 1960, working freelance around London, playing shows and clubs. He recorded with, a.o., Humphrey Littleton (1972-1976), Al Haig (1978), and Chet Baker (in 1979). After three years in Germany, 1980-1983, he returned to England where he continued to freelance, teach, and run his own drum shop in Stockport, England.
