Hayvanlar Alemi is an instrumental psychedelic rock band founded in Ankara in 1999, playing music that brings together a diverse range of influences such as stoner rock, surf, dub, free improvisation, and melodic scales from African, Asian and South American traditions. The name Hayvanlar Alemi translates to 'the world of animals' or 'animal kingdom' in English.

The bands consists of Özüm İtez, Işık Sarıhan, Hazar Mutgan and Gökçe Başar. Özüm İtez also plays and releases as a solo artist, and together with Hazar Mutgan they run the guitar effects pedal company SoundBrut. Işık Sarıhan runs and produces albums for the label Inverted Spectrum Records.
