The Mannequins of Death was formed from the ashes of Swedish post-punk band Cortex. Original members from Cortex, TT Reuter and The Kingdom of Evol formed the Mannequins of Death on October 3, 2015 and made their stage debut the same day at Truckstop Alaska in Gothenburg, Sweden. This is due to the suddenly canceled and sold out reunion gig with Cortex 3 October 2015 at Film Studios I Gothenberg.
