Real name: Alasdair Mackie Ward

English bass player/vocalist born 11 July 1959 in Croydon (South London, UK). Ward played bass for punk acts The Saints and The Damned prior to founding the NWOBHM band Tank. In recent years Ward split with former Tank members (who formed Tank). The 2013 Tank album "Breath Of The Pit" featured Ward playing all instruments, and he is also separately collaborating with Evo of Warfare. Sadly, Alasdair 'Algy' Ward passed away on 17th May 2023.
