Italian New Wave band formed in 1979 in Genoa. Influenced by DEVO, Punk and early Wave bands, their only 'hit' was "Fahrenheit 451", released on major label in 1984. Architects of live act with a great sound and visual impact, Scortilla played around Italy by the hideouts of the underground music by establishing their headquarter at the Psycho Club of Genova, the cradle of true Art-Rock scene of the period. Intransigent about their artistic choices, the band closed the career after their unique 12''. They came back in 2020 with a new definitive album Fahrenheit 999
