Belgian instrumental fusion band from Brussels formed in 1976. After leaving Belgian prog band Cos in the mid-1970s, the keyboardist Charles Loos and the bassist Jean-Paul Musette decide to play a music more complex, more jazz-based and along other musicians that come from groups such as Placebo, Waterloo and Pazop founded Abraxis. Their music is a cross between flute jazz, Canterbury inspired fusion, and 1970s funk / library.
