Johnny Truitt (Born on the 18th of April 1945 in Eunice, LA., Died on the 31st of July 2007), from Louisiana, made his debut under the name Little John in 1965 for the Neal label with the self-written "My love is gone", which clearly demonstrated his talent.In 1966 he switched to the sub-label of Excello Records called "Abet" and Truitt made some beautiful recordings. After a number of singles for the Abet label, Johnny Truitt's career was over, it seems after his last single in 1973
