The duo YAMUNA formed in 2022 by Leo Asal and halfpastseven (aka Joshua Lutz), combines an avant-garde approach with beats from hip-hop and electronic dance music. In doing so, the two musicians act like a sampler and a drum machine while still striving to maintain a human touch.
