American metalcore band based in La Habra, California. Originally formed under the name In Reply in 1999, the band's name was changed to As Hope Dies in the autumn of 2001. As Hope Dies broke up in October 2003, but reformed a year later in August 2004. They broke up again less than a year later, playing their last show on May 23, 2005.
