Meindert Boekel, born Amsterdam September 15, 1915, died Hilversum May 2, 1989 was a Dutch organist, composer and conductor.

Meindert started his musical career at the age of 13 as the principal organist of the Reformed Evangelic Lutheran Church of Hoorn. He was educated at the Amsterdam Conservatory in music theory, harmony and counterpoint.

In 1937, Meindert was appointed organist at the New Walloon Church of Amsterdam. After WW2 he was the conductor of Amsterdams Vocaal Ensemble and in 1946 he became the organist and conductor of the choir of Dutch NCRV Radio of Hilversum. Later he was the conductor of the Groot Omroepkoor of the Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (NOS) of Hilversum.

He was also conductor at a number of famous choirs, such as Soli Deo Gloria (Hoorn), Koninklijke Christelijke Oratorium Vereniging Excelsior of Amsterdam, concert bands, brassbands and marching bands, a.o. De Nationale Brassband.
