Real name: Alice Simon

American educator, composer and author.
Born 13 January 1917 in New York, NY, USA
She receive her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell and studied piano with Elizabeth Strauss at Damrosch.
She charted once as a songwriter with "Wonderful One" by The Shondells in 1962 (#116 in the U.S.). Her song "Foolishly Yours" (co-written by Leonard Joy) has been recorded by more than a dozen artists including Doris Day, Kay Starr, Faye Tucker and Patti Page.
