The Groundbreaking Project is a codename for Groundbreaking, an indie/electronic/alternative project started by Sean Harper in 2011.
In 2023, the decision was made to remove the majority of Groundbreaking releases from streaming in an attempt to distance the project from the otacore and nerdcore music it had become associated with. Starting with Blood Sweat Tears in 2023, they were reuploaded under the name The Groundbreaking Project so fans would still have access to them. Other releases, such as features with TryHardNinja and Shadrow, were also moved to the Groundbreaking Project name.
