Biography
Clifton "Rudy" Pitts
Indiana born in Terre Haute, Rudy started at fourteen years of age playing in Kansas City with Jay McShann. He went on to play with Hot Lips Paige in New York and Lionel Hampton in Los Angeles. While on the West Coast he made recordings with Ray Charles, then joined the Ink Spots and traveled the West Coast and Western Canada.
