Died at a friend's home in Long Beach, California, on Sunday, November 23, 2008 of an apparent drug overdose.He played with Bernie Pearl's band, then formed his own group, Luke And The Locomotives. Member of Canned Heat from 1995 to 2000 and again from 2005 to 2008.
