The Azerbaijan State Symphonic Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyov is one of the biggest music groups in Azerbaijan. It was founded in 1920, one of the first in the Soviet Union, on the initiative of the founder of Azerbaijan professional music Üzeyir Hacıbəyov.
