Real name: Bruno Laakko

Born on June 19th, 1907. Died on December 12th, 1989 in Marquette, Michigan, USA. An American musician, conductor and teacher.

Bruno Laakko's parents were born in northern Finland and he lived in Finland from 1938 to 1941. Though Laakko lived in Finland only for a few years, his influence on Finnish jazz was big because he was a way better musician than his Finnish collagues and he taught them to play jazz better.
