Nebraska-born country singer-songwriter who, along with her brother Bob Cummings, was a contract writer for Jim Reeves Enterprises' Acclaim Music, Inc. At the age of 19, she was the first recording artist signed by London Records when they expanded into the field of country music in 1966.
