Canadian singer/songwriter born December 15, 1943 in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Also known as Bill "Sourdough" Houston. His father was a fur-trader with the Hudson Bay Company, so he moved around the North often until the family finally settled in Sioux Lookout, Ontario in 1950. His song “Ojibway Country” appeared in in the IMAX film "North Of Superior".
