Real name: Sophie Clare Howes

Indie pop singer-songwriter from Leicester, UK. Howes began songwriting in 2020 when she was furloughed and began releasing demos in 2021 on Soundcloud. She was quickly picked up by tastemakers including Jess Iszatt (BBC Introducing), Clara Amfo (Radio 1's Future Sounds), and Gemma Bradley (also of Radio 1.) Sofy won runner-up on Live Lounge Introducing 2021 with Strawberry Milkshake.

Since then, Howes has released a two-part EP and a nine-track mixtape, which has received rave reviews from critics.

Sofy's live band is comprised of Edward Denholm, Sam Wildsmith, Will Raybould and James Stokes.
