Claude Trenier

American Rhythm & Blues and Jump blues singer.Born July 14, 1919 in Mobile, Alabama.
Died November 17, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brother of Cliff Trenier, Milt Trenier and Buddy Trenier, and uncle of Skip Trenier.
Apart from his many recordings with The Treniers, also had a solo session for the Lamplighter label in Los Angeles, California, in late 1945 or early 1946.
Claude and his twin brother, Cliff, formed the Alabama State Collegians in the late 1930s. Claude and Cliff joined the Jimmie Lunceford Orchestra in the 1940s. In 1947 they formed their own band, The Treniers, a jump blues group.
