Skúli Sverrisson (born 23 October 1966) is an Icelandic composer and bassist residing in New York City.

His solo performances draw attention for the mood he manages to create with his bass. He breaks the conventional bounds and experiments with various sounds, rhythms, non-rhythms and electronic distortions.

He has worked with many artists and composers, like: Wadada Leo Smith, Derek Bailey, Lou Reed, David Sylvian, Arto Lindsay, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Allan Holdsworth, Jóhann Jóhannsson and Hildur Guðnadóttir. Sverrisson is also known for his work as an artistic director for Ólöf Arnalds (Innundir Skinni, Við Og Við), recordings with Blonde Redhead and as a musical director for performance artist Laurie Anderson.

Sverrisson also plays dobro, acoustic bass guitar, and charango, in addition to electric bass.
