Real name: Tobias Reiser

Austrian folk musician and composer (2 March 1907, St. Johann im Pongau - 31 October 1974, Kaprun). The master butcher has become known as a founder of singing and music groups as well as the inventor of the Stubenmusik. However, his cultural posture was also anti-semitic, his proximity to nazi dictatorship brought him after 1945 in critique.
He was the father of Tobias Reiser, also a known folk musician in area Salzburg.
