Betrey Zuzey arose as a British band when drummer-lyricist Steve Marriott (no relation to the musician of the same name who was a member of the British band The Small Faces) and bassist-singer Matt Gunn formed a trio at the end of 1994. Ram Orion who was in Britain at the time joined them and also chose the incomprehensible name- Absolutely for the British audience. After two years in Britain, Orion returned to Israel and founded the Hebrew version of the band here. In the beginning, they released a cassette single with three songs written and composed by Orion: "The main thing is Health", "Na Nach Nacham Nachman Me'umen" and "There is no Fear". In 1999 "Bete'avon", the debut album, was released. At the end of 2000, the band broke up and said goodbye to their fans by releasing a mini-album containing six original songs and another cover version of a VIOLENT FEMMES song.
