Dead Dark Slide began in early 2002, conceived as a studio project by Glass Oils aka Ryan Michalski (of Spaceking, Man Milk, Eviscerated Zombie Tampon and Ryan Cosmonaught).
The only other constant member is Juan "Punchy" Gonzales (of Diet Of Worms, Lover Of Sin, and Spaceking).

Dead Dark Slide is primarily a "goth-metal" project, though they do tend to include industrial and electronica on some of their songs.
