Action Unlimited

Effective period / Period of releases: 1966

Members: Chuk Trisko

U.S. garage rock group active in the mid-1960s. Action Unlimited were originally known as the Maroons and were based out of East Kentucky University. They went out to California to work with Dick Clark Productions and optimistically changed their name to "Action Unlimited" (Clark was then the producer of the popular ABC TV series Where the Action Is!). They were signed to the Philadelphia based Cameo/ Parkway label via their ties to Clark, and recorded two singles, though only one was ever released.
