The Outcasts

1960s garage rock group from San Diego, California.

Originally a Righteous Brothers styled band consisting of Garry Puckett (guitar, vocals) and Bobby Brown (bass vocals) which was put together by Yale Kahn, the owner of local music venue 'The Clairemont Bowl'. They added Tommy Kendall on drums and became the Outcasts.. Broke up in San Francisco during their first out of town road trip. Pucket and Bement then formed Gary Puckett and the Union Gap in early 1967.

Other members: Willie Kellogg (drums), Dwight Bement (sax and keyboards), Bob Salisbury (sax)
