Real name: Иван Сафарович Шамба
Ivan Shamba (1950-2023) was an Abkhaz folklorist, musician, and choirmaster.He was conductor of the State Folk Song and Dance Ensemble of Abkhazia (Государственный Ансамбль Пеcни И Танца Абхазии) from 1971.
From 1984 to 1993, he was conductor and artistic director of the Ritsa ensemble (Рица).
