Cougars is a Chicago-based rock band previously signed to the New York-based label Go-Kart Records. In 2023 they signed to Expert Work Records, and will have a new record coming out in 2023.

As of 2022, Cougars are now a five piece band. They no longer have a horn section and keyboard player.

Five of the eight members are former members of Hot Stove Jimmy, a ska band based in the same area.
