Emmett Miller & His Georgia Crackers

Jazz band of the late 1920s to mid 1930s led by singer Emmett Miller.

The band recorded for Okeh and Bluebird (3) and probably used changing personnel.

At the June 1928 Okeh session that recorded "God's River Blues," members included Leo McConville (trumpet), Tommy Dorsey (trombone), Jimmy Dorsey (clarinet), Arthur Schutt (piano), Eddie Lang (guitar), Stan King (drums).
