DJ/Producer/Composer vMarkus began producing electronic music in the early 1980s after hearing Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. Early works were composed using two cassette decks, a microphone, and an electronics kit from Radio Shack that made strange noises when connected to speakers. From there the sound evolved through the use of Commodore computers, Korg synths, music toys, the Apple Macintosh, and so on.
Subliminal Gravity began in the mid 1990s as an counterpoint to the hard, industrial sounds of Crocodile Shop, and was an early pioneer in digital releases, offering his debut album "No High Ambient Tripping" strictly online.
