Oscar and Grammy-winning audio engineer and a musician (piano and church and theater organ), chief Engineer for Delos International, author of seminal textbooks on audio, a consultant (and vice president of engineering) for 31 years at JBL, past president and fellow of the Audio Engineering Society and Chief Engineer for Mercury Sound Studios.6 January 1931 - 9 May 2007.
