Real name: Richard Earl Wessell

Dick Wesson was one of the most recogizable character actors of the 1950s. He was also a comedian who was part of vaudeville comedic duo with his brother, Gene Wesson called "Wesson Bros..". They had a hit in 1949 with "All Right, Louie, Drop The Gun", a novelty vocal song in the vein of "Open the Door, Richard". It reached #11 on Billboard in April of 1949.
