Born: 3rd December 1940 Bangor, Wales
Died: 4th April 2021
After serving the Navy he moved to Bristol with Steve Tilston, signing with The Village Thing and releasing the Ian A. Anderson-produced The Words In Between, which was named one of the top ten albums in a contemporary Daily Mail review, with John Peel becoming a fan. This was followed by Elephantasia on the same label before releasing the instrumental Sad Pig Dance on Kicking Mule. After his 1976 album Take a Bite Out of Life, he retired and moved to Brussels, Belgium, working as a luthier, brewer and potter, although he still made the rare live performance.
