Spanish band from the Basque Country. -gailu was founded in Bilbao in 1997 by Luis Andre (visual artist) and Mikel Abrego (musician) as an art project. The music part, handled by Mikel Abrego with his usual friends & collaborators, was a mixture of Trip Hop, Hip Hop, Jazz Pop and Avantgarde.

Later refounded in 2021 as a experimental rock band by: Eneko Abrego aka Okene Abrego (vocals, samplers), Mikel Abrego (drums, vocals, samplers) and Xabier Olazabal aka Drake (bass, contrabass, vocals, txistu).
