Real name: Joost Langeveld

Joost Langeveld established himself as a bass player in the 1980's with bands such as Strawpeople, NRA, and Nemesis Dub Systems, before moving into music programming and production.

He formed downbeat outfit Unitone HiFi with Stinky Jim, signed to German label iNComing! - and toured Europe in the 90's.

Upon his return to New Zealand, Langeveld became an active part of the Kog Transmissions collective, and ran Kog's house music label Reliable.

Still produces music in 2020 - primarily with (and for) others - operates Bigpop Studios and manages record labels Black Lotus, Marigold Music and ToneTonic
