German singer-songwriter, musician, producer, author, educator and retired Baptist pastor. Born in 1947 in Berlin, Germany.He is one of the most well-known Christian songwriters in Germany and has written a lot of songs together with Theo Lehmann.
His brother is the jazz musician Bernd Swoboda.
