Leader of the group The New Era in New Orleans who cut two 45s & an unreleased LP. Later formed the group The Last Nikle who recorded an LP & several 45s for Mainstream. Ended up in Los Angeles doing session & soundtrack work for most of the 70s & 80s before returning to New Orleans in the 90s. Brother of Wally McDaniel.
