Eventide were founded in 1992 by Jeremiah M. Soto and Dann M. Torres, later adding the talents of Laura Grissom on bass and Julie Blodgett on vocals. The band experimented with fusing Medieval and Middle Eastern music before disbanding in February 1995. Soto, Torres and Grissom would later reunite for the short-lived project Still, while Soto would revive the name Eventide for his record label Eventide Music Productions.
