Gran Velvet is the name of a enormous club that was located in Badalona, Spain. Opened from 1993 to 1999 under different names, the building had 4.385 m2 and was designed by the Spanish architect Alfredo Arribas with a fabulous ship shaped form. It was demolished in November 2010.

1993-1997: Gran Velvet.
1997-1998: Orbital, from the Scorpia brand.
1998: as stage for a program of the Spanish TV Channel Telecinco.
